This 2ml vial of hexane is used as a control for the bedbug Pseudoscent Kit.

The pseudoscent is a solution of bedbug pheromones in hexane. The pseudoscent is normally applied to a strip of paper and then left for 30-60 mins to allow the hexane to completely evaporate, so that only the bedbug pheromones remain.

Dog trainers use this product to confirm that the dog is not indicating on hexane residues.
