Cimex lectularius
Description
This population was collected in 2015 from Malmö in Sweden. It has moderate/high resistance to pyrethroids and carbamates, and has been shown to carry the L9521 mutation for KDR resistance.
Populations with higher levels of insecticide resistance tend to need to feed more regularly. This population is therefore less suitable for canine scent detection training, but is ideally suited to biocidal product evaluation.
Unless otherwise requested, all bedbugs are supplied freshly fed on the day of dispatch.
